Amantha Tsaros and Reve Drapeau Announce Exhibit & Cake Tasting: Art Tea
August 9, 2012
Amantha Tsaros, Lexington artist, will join forces with Winchester's Reve Drapeau of Mama Bakes Cakes in combining bold paintings with beautiful and delicious cakes for a tasty one-time event. For the first time ever, these two will display paintings and cakes that were cross-inspired in a never seen before relationship. Amantha is showing paintings based on Mama Bakes Cakes’ cake recipes and in turn Mama Bakes Cakes will present cakes inspired by the paintings. A cake tasting will accompany the exhibit. This tasty event will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Old Town Hall, 16 South Bedford Road, Bedford, MA 01730.
A born and raised Bostonian, Amantha Tsaros studied at the School of Visual Arts, New York, NY where she earned a BFA and an MFA. During this time her artwork focused on dramatic black and white printmaking and watercolor. Most recently her work has been seen at the Cambridge Art Association and the aLoft Hotel in Lexington.
