The Town of Lexington through the DPW-Engineering Division will be performing roadwork on Mass Ave and Bedford St. from Waltham St. to Hancock St.  This work entails milling and repaving and is expected to begin this week and continue for approximately 2 weeks.  To minimize the impacts, the most significant aspects of the work will be performed at night.  There will be some day work as well which will create traffic delays and result in some temporary parking space closures along this section of roadway.  The Engineering Division will provide a schedule on the website (http://ci.lexington.ma.us/dpw/constructionprojects.cfm) on July 30^th.  We will provide periodic updates including last minute schedule changes on the website as well as through our Twitter feed @diginlex.  Please note that this work is weather dependent and therefore the schedule is subject to change.  We appreciate your patience during this roadway improvement project.
