Calling All Lexington Authors,

Would you be interested in sharing your work with your friends and neighbors in town at a fun community event? If so, we invite you to participate in the Authors Corner during LexCelebrate! Incorporation  Weekend.

On Saturday, March 16th the Media Center at Lexington High School will be set aside for all comers to chat with Lexington authors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The purpose of the Authors Corner event is to encourage an exchange between writers and their audiences. We define Lexington authors as traditionally- or self-published writers who have lived or worked in Lexington, MA. The Authors Corner will be publicized as part of the LexCelebrate Incorporation Weekend, a 300th Anniversary Celebration event.

As a Lexington author, you can reserve a free space at a table for one of the following time slots:

• 10:00 a.m.– 12:00 p.m.
• 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Authors are welcome to bring their own books to sell along with their own payment mechanism.  A display item, such as a freestanding frame with a book cover is also encouraged; table cloths will be provided. 

During the day, three Author Panels will take place in the adjoining Library, and the audience will be directed to exit through the Media Center.  As the number of tables there is limited, please reply with your preferred exhibition time as soon as possible.  Tables will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and all efforts will be made to accommodate your time preference.
