More than 350 residents entered a contest focusing on financial education at the recent Lexington Discover Day festival. The contest was hosted by trained financial educators from Cambridge Savings Bank's financial education program, CSBsmart.

Residents of all ages were quizzed on their financial knowledge, with winners (and losers!) receiving a Kennedy half dollar chocolate coin. Adult entrants were asked four questions regarding their knowledge on the dangers of predatory lenders, while children were asked a basic question about managing money.

CSBsmart is the signature financial education initiative of Cambridge Savings Bank. Since its expansion in 2010, CSBsmart has delivered over 350 free lessons to more than 5,500 participants from all ages and walks of life - from kindergarteners to homeless war veterans.
