"Think winter running is hard? Try battling cancer.” is the Resolution Run to Kick Cancer’s motto. Last year close to 900 runners and walkers took up the cause. Already more than 800 runners and walkers have registered to come out on a winter’s day to be healthy and help make a difference for those fighting cancer.
“We are expecting more than 1,000 registrants this year”, says Ines Fusco, co-director of the Resolution Run to Kick Cancer. “We are thrilled to have so many people participating and supporting the cause to kick cancer!”
The 5K road race begins at 11 a.m. at the Lexington High School Field House, with a fast, flat course through historical Lexington. Registration is $30 on the day of event.
