Attention Bicyclists: Planned Bikeway Closures Altered During Repairs
Sections of the Minuteman Bikeway in Lexington will be closed for drainage improvement work this week and next.

According to an email from Peggy Enders of the Bicycle Advisory Committee, the Department of Public Works and Town Engineers have issued an update to planned bikeway closures in Lexington this week and next during drainage improvment work on the Minuteman Bikeway.
According to the new schedule, the bikeway in Lexington will be closed between Bow Street and Fottler Avenue from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Wednesday, Febr. 8 through Friday, Feb. 10. The section between the Seasons Four driveway and Maple Street will be closed on Monday, February 13 through Friday, February 17 from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Construction will consist of installation of drainage structures, culverts, drain pipes, stone lined swales and regrading of ditches along the sides of the trail.
Please use caution when traveling along the trail.
