Our inaugural Best of Patch contest kicks off this week with lunch on our mind.
Lunch spots are plentiful in Lexington and we're looking for the best place to grab a sandwich in town.
Last summer, we sent an intern on a mission to identify the best sandwich in Lexington Center. But this time around we're expanding the search to the entire town and want you to rank restaurants, not individual menu items (although we hope you'll add those in the comments section below).
For the purposes of this unscientific poll, we'll include wraps, subs and burgers in the sandwich category. But burritos and calzones need not apply.
Here are a few favorite places, in no particular order, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll be sure to add it to the list and poll below:
- Via Lago
- Tutto Italiano
- Avenue Deli
- Panera Bread
- Great Harvest
- Neillio’s Gourmet Farm
- Waxy O’Connor’s
- Nick’s Place
- Lexington House of Pizza
- Alexander’s Pizza
- Prime Roast Beef and Seafood
- Jackson’s Kitchen
- Bruegger's Bagels
- Sizzling House of Kabab
Voting's open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments posted below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.
Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.
