Police in Lexington are investigating an alleged robbery that reportedly occurred at the TD Bank at 1840 Mass Ave.

According to Lt. Chris Barry, a spokesman for the department, Lexington Police officers and area K9 units are on scene. Investigators are attempting to obtain video footage and looking into possible routes the suspect -- described as a white male wearing a blue jacket -- may have taken form the scene, Barry said.

Police did not provide details about the alleged robbery or how much money was taken at this time.
