Five Things: Parent Conferences at LHS and More

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on Jan. 2 in Lexington.

1. Winter Vacation is Over: The Lexington Public Schools are back in session today, except for Lexington High students, who have another day off thanks to parent conferences.

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town webiste, public meetings posted for today include the Council on Aging at 3 p.m. at the Senior Center, the Trustees of Cary Memorial Library at 5 p.m. at the library and the Design Advisory Committee at 7:30 p.m. at Cary Hall.

3. Lexington Community Education Winter 2013 Classes Now Online: So check them out here.

4. Like Us on Facebook: For even more information and engagement, like Lexington Patch on Facebook. Over there, we'll be asking questions, looking for feedback and continuing the conversation with the Lexington community. See you soon!

5. Sunny, But Cool: Should be mostly sunny today, with a high of 30, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a mostly clear and cold evening with a low of 9.
