1. Holiday Pops Concerts
Where/When: Cary Memorial Building, 1605 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington; 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2
Why Go: The Lexington Symphony performs kids pops at 4 p.m. and evening pops at 8 p.m., a pair of concerts that include popular holiday favorits, a sing-a-long and an appearance by a special guest.
Pricing: $15 and $5 for children in the afternoon and $35 and $15 for children in the evening

2. Holiday Festival Night in Lexington Center
Where/When: Lexington Center, Lexington; 4 to 9:30 p.m.
Why Go: Lexington Center will be hopping with holiday spirit this Friday, Dec. 2, as Santa Claus comes to town, businesses stay open late, holiday music fills the air and Cary Memorial Library hosts music, dancing and local authors. A lighting ceremony is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Depot Square.
Pricing: Free, until you buy something

3. LACS Holiday Marketplace
Where/When: Lexington Arts and Crafts Society, 130 Waltham St, Lexington; Dec. 2 to Dec. 24. Opening day hours are 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2; and from December 3 to 23, hours are Mon.-Sat.  10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and    Sundays from 12 to 6 p.m.
Why Go: It's a local place to grab something for everyone on your gift lists, featuring one-of-a-kind pieces and gift certificates from the Arts and Crafts Society's guilds.
Pricing: Admission and parking are free

4. LABBB's second Annual Holiday Craft Fair
Where/When: Lexington High School, 251 Waltham St, Lexington; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3
Why Go: A craft fair featuring holiday shopping options, food and fun benefits the LABBB Best Buddies Program. For more information contact Janet at 978-815-7874 or email pazitively@aol.com.

5. Hancock Holiday Fair
Where/When: Hancock United Church of Christ, 1912 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3
Why Go: Pick up gifts for your loved ones that benefit more than 20 local, national and international charities such as Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Heifer International, MinuteMan Senior Services, City Mission Society, Rosie's Place, Sustainable Harvest, The Cotting School and the Lexington Food Pantry.
