1. Time's Running Out to Register to Vote in Sept. 6 State Primaries: This Friday, Aug. 17, is the deadline to register to vote in the Sept. 6 state primary. Here in Lexington, voter registration forms are available at the Town Clerk's Office, Cary Memorial Library and online.
2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, the only public meeting posted for today is the Economic Development Advisory Committee at 8:30 a.m. at Cary Hall. Its agenda includes a Hartwell Avenue Association update and developing a vision for Hartwell Ave.
3. Aly Raisman's In Town! Friends and fans of US gold-medalling gymnast Aly Raisman may want to show up in Burlington this morning. There is a welcome home rally for the Needham resident at Brestyan’s American Gymnastics Club, 13 Ray Avenue.
