Hi Bonnie, Thanks for reading and commenting. The carnival is indeed a big event in Lexington! I just double-checked with Stacy Sheehan, president of the Lions Club, and she confirmed the carnival actually starts tomorrow at Hastings Park. It says July 2 to July 7 on the Lions Club's homepage, but if you click on the link to "Fourth of July Carnival," it provides the correct dates.

According to Stacy, Fiesta Shows pulled in last night and will be setting up all day today. If the crews will have me, I'll be heading over there a little later today to snap some pictures of the set up. -- PB
