1. Big Band Concert: Lexington High's Jazz Big Band will join the Mingus Festival winning Jazz Ensemble for an evening of great jazz music at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the high school.
2. Miss Representation: There's a screening of Miss Representation at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Hancock Church. The film includes stories from teenage girls and provocative interviews with politicians, journalists, entertainers, activists and academics like Condoleezza Rice, Nancy Pelosi, Katie Couric, Rachel Maddow, Rosario Dawson and Gloria Steinem.
3. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the 2020 Vision Committee at 7:45 a.m. at the Town Office Building and the Board of Assessors at 8:30 a.m., also at the Town Office Building.
4. Get Ready to Spring Forward: Don't forget, Daylight Saving is 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 11. You'll lose an hour of sleep Saturday night, but at least it's going to stay light a little later into the evening.
5. More Sun, More Wind: Should be mostly sunny today, with a high of 45 and potential wind gusts of up to 26 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service, with a partly cloudy evening and overnight lows of 25.
