We got a pretty good response to the Question of the Day we posed Wednesday, July 13, which asked what folks think about the mix of businesses in Lexington Center and what they'd like to see there.
While some called for bike shops, family-friendly restaurants and even electrical vehicle charging stations, others offered commentary, as well.
"The mix of uses currently in the Center reflects the market and what services the community is requesting...to some degree, by default," wrote Gregory Zurlo. "There isn't a specific business I think is missing from the Center, but maintaining a variety of small locally owned businesses is an important part of maintaining a unique Town character. Perhaps the powers-that-be could explore ways to encourage this via financial incentives and outreach.
