Lexington Resident Receives Nursing Scholarship

Lexington High School graduate Ellen Chang recently received a nursing scholarship from Mount Auburn Hospital to study nursing at the University of Pennsylvania in the fall.

"My decision to go into a nursing career was due to the opportunities it will allow me to have in the future to serve others, especially those in developing areas," Chang said, in a press release provided by the hospital. "Hopefully with a nursing background, I will be able to use my knowledge to bring change to healthcare in third world countries." 

Chang was recently presented with the $500 scholarship by Deborah Baker, vice president of patient care services and chief nurse executive at Mount Auburn Hospital.
