Lexingtonians young and old kicked off a nine-month celebration to celebrate the town's 300th anniversary with an impressive lineup of opening-day festivities on Saturday, Sept. 22.

Lexington's 300th birthday bash kicked-off in a big way on Saturday, Sept. 22, with opening ceremonies, an all-town photograph, arts and crafts festival, country fair, music and an "Amazing Race" inspired contest that took place around town. That evening, there was a community dance, and on Sunday was the Lexington Symphony's world premier in honor of the tercentennial.
With all of that going on, we had our hands taking photos, shooting video and, of course, talking to people. Below you'll find links to the seven stories, photo galleries and videos posted since Saturday afternoon.
