Lexington's 300th: Taking the All-Town Photograph
Some photos of the leadup to the Lexington's 300th all-town photo, shot with a fancy camera by Boston Globe photogs hoisted up in a bucket truck.
Between the opening ceremonies and Country Fair, thousands of locals gathered inside the track to take an all-town photograph. As the crowd came together, Lexingtonians young and old were entertained by the Air Force Band of Liberty's rock band, Afterburner.
