Live Chat: What Do You Need to Know About College Application Essays?
Some of the mysteries of the college application essay will be solved on Thursday during our live chat. Post your questions here!
The essay portion of the college application may seem a little daunting to some, but there are experts.
One such expert is coming to Brookline this week: Sarah Myers McGinty, author of the "The College Application Essay, former writing faculty member at Harvard University, a former admissions director at Sarah Lawrence College and principal of the McGinty Consulting Group.
So, if you had a chance to ask her anything about that essay, what do you want to know? Scroll down and tell us in the comments.
We ask because, on Thursday, Sept 20 at 6 p.m., she will be taking your questions live on Brookline Patch--and on Sunday, Sept. 23 McGinty will be at the Brookline Booksmith at 4 p.m., talking more about her book and about the process of making your essay say, "Pick me!"
Leave your questions below, then come back to Brookline Patch on Thursday @ 6 p.m., or wait to type your question when you enter our chat room that evening.
