LPD Arrests Waltham Men on Drug Charges

Police reportedly found cocaine, marijuana and a double-edged knife found inside car parked in a Spring Street parking lot.

A patrol officer checking out a vehicle parked in a private lot Thursday night in Lexington led to the arrest of two Waltham men on drug, weapons and trespassing charges.

According to the police incident report, shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, a patrol officer noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in a private Spring Street parking lot, where “No Trespassing” signs were posted.

Through the investigation, police located cocaine, marijuana and a double-edged knife in the vehicle and arrested Waltham residents Christopher and Jeffrey Healy on multiple charges, an LPD spokesman said.

A K9 unit from Waltham also responded to the Lexington Police Station to further search the car for narcotics, but that effort did not turn up additional drugs, police said.

Arrested were:

  • Christopher Paul Healy, 24, of 116 Goldencrest Ave., Waltham, on charges of carrying a dangerous weapon (the knife), possession of a Class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of a Class B substance (cocaine) and trespassing.
  • Jeffrey Joseph Healy, 23, of 116 Goldencrest Ave., Waltham, on charges of illegal possession of a Class B substance (cocaine).
