Photo Gallery: Images of Independence Day Weekend
Scenes from the Lexington Lions Club's 55th annual Fourth of July Carnival.
Throughout this Fourth of July weekend -- like so many other before it -- the Lexington Lion's Club's annual carnival has been a hub of activity where Lexingtonians and others celebrated American independence in any number of ways.
From the ferris wheel to the fireworks to the fried dough, the carnival offered something for just about everyone, including special youth games from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. today at Crumb Field.
Patch was there when the carnival opened early, allowing special needs students from area institutions to enjoy the rides before the crowds arrived. And we were there again Saturday night, when the fireworks display was an added attraction.
But we know there are any number of images, events, activities and other scenes that we missed this weeked -- at the carnival and other places memories are made.
And that's where you all come in.
