PHOTOS: Lexington Residents Participate in Fasionable Fundraiser

Sara Campbell designs were featured in Mount Auburn Hospital Auxiliary's annual Spring Benefit Fashion Show and Luncheon.

Mount Auburn Hospital Auxiliary’s Annual Spring Benefit Fashion Show and Luncheon went out with a fashionable bang last Wednesday, April 18, and a few Lexington women had a part in the show.

This year’s show, held at the Oakley Country Club in Watertown, featured fashions by Boston-based designer Sara Campbell and this year’s proceeds will advance further improvements at Mount Auburn as it becomes an all-private room hospital and expands services in cardiology, obstetrics, geriatrics and cancer care.

The event was planned by Jan Ankerson and co-chaired by Watertown Committee Chair Sylvia Whitney, and Director Ruth Pratt of Lexington, who secured the models and designer.
