Police Log: After Taxi Ride from North Andover, Man Gets Arrested for Harrassment

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 3

9:29 a.m. – A verbal argument was reported on Mass Ave.

10:05 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Bedford Street.

10:10 a.m. – Police responded to a reported hit-and-run accident with property damage in the area of Bedford Street and Route 128-95. It’s under investigation.

3:36 p.m. – Erratic operation of a motor vehicle was reported in the area of Waltham Street and Piper Road.

7:17 p.m. – Lexington Police made an arrest on an outside warrant for armed robbery. Robert Turner, 40, of 21 Leonard Road, Lexington, was arrested on a warrant out of Chelsea for armed robbery.

9:24 p.m. – Police assisted with a reported motor vehicle lockout on Bedford Street.

Thursday, Oct. 4

5:52 a.m. – Suspicious activity was reported in the area of Tricorne Road.

7:15 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Bedford Street.

9:54 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a past breaking-and-entering to a motor vehicle on Lexington Ridge Drive.

11:01 a.m. – As a result of an investigation on Lowell Street, Ross A. Clay, 30, of 90 Autran Ave., North Andover, was arrested and charged with violation of a criminal harassment order, taxi fare evasion and criminal harassment. According to police, Clay took a taxi from North Andover to ask a person who worked there a question about his daughter. Clay, who has had a criminal harrasment order against taken out against him by a member of the employee's family, allegedly the father to pay the balance of his taxi fare. The man did not, leading to the fare evasion charge.

3:37 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Mass Ave and Muzzey Street.

9:32 p.m. – A motor vehicle accident was reported on Lowell Street.

9:51 p.m. – A cruiser checked out a report of noises around a house on Bernard Street.
