Police Log: Are the BB Gun Vandals Back?
The following information from May 21 to May 24 was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction
Monday, May 21
12:49 a.m. – A noise complaint came in regarding a group of youths near the rear of a church on Worthen Road.
6:39 a.m. – Officers investigated a motor vehicle accident in the area of Waltham Street and Marrett Road.
12:12 p.m. – A gold bracelet was reportedly found in the area of Mass Ave and Meriam Street.
2:32 p.m. – Police responded to a reported possible home repair scam on Taft Avenue.
4:28 p.m. – Officers investigated a motor vehicle accident in the area of Hartwell Avenue and Maguire Road.
10:28 p.m. – A cruiser checked out a report of a person running through a yard on Leonard Street.
Tuesday, May 22
9:21 a.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported in the area of Bedford Street and Route 128-95.
10:17 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Slocum Road, Scott M. Tilton, 220 Newland St., Malden, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle after his license was suspended and outside warrants from Malden and Peabody.
1:19 p.m. – A dispute/general argument was reported on Waltham Street.
2:02 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident causing property damage was reported in the area of Mass Ave and Wallis Court.
5:53 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Mass Ave and Meriam Street, Victoria J. Cobuzzi, 28, of 106 Laconia St., Lexington, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license and with a cracked windshield.
Wednesday, May 23
8:27 a.m. – Erratic operation of a motor vehicle was reported in the area of Mass Ave and Crosby Road.
8:38 a.m. – A window of a vehicle parked along Lincoln Street was reportedly smashed out overnight, possibly by a BB. There was no indication the car had been entered.
12:45 p.m. – Officers investigated a motor vehicle accident in the area of Lillian and Anthony roads.
6:19 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Concord Avenue, Tristan A. Prince, 24, of 150 Milk St., was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.
11:10 p.m. – Officers assisted the state police on Marrett Road.
Thursday, May 24
8 a.m. – A parking complaint came in regarding a landscaping truck in the area of Hancock Street and Coolidge Avenue.
10:24 a.m. – Police responded to Concord Avenue for a reported motor vehicle accident in which a van rolled into a house.
12:15 p.m. – Police responded to a reported attempted breaking-and-entering on Dewey Road.
4 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported identity theft on Hastings Road.
5:06 p.m. – Vandalism was reported on Constitution Road.
6:02 p.m. – A motor vehicle-versus-bike collision was reported in the area of Westview Street and the Minuteman Bikeway.
11:21 p.m. – A fireworks came in from Bartlett Avenue.
11:53 p.m. – Suspicious kids were reportedly walking on Turningmill Road.
