Police Log: Arrests for Alleged Trespassing, Drug Offenses and OUI
The following information from June 1 to June 3 was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, June 1
1:37 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a loud party on Locust Avenue.
4:30 a.m. – After an officer located a vehicle parked on Worthen Road, Cullen Hickey Schultz, 17, of 40 Sherburne Road, Lexington, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute, being a minor transporting liquor and illegal possession of a Class D substance. According to the police report, there were two individuals in the vehicle and one outside of it. As a result of the investigation, officers found an amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia that police to believe Schultz intended to distribute the drugs. Police also found a large amount of alcohol in a gym bag with Schultz’ name on it, according to the police report. In addition to the charges against Schultz, the two others will receive citations for noncriminal possession of marijuana, police said.
5:33 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on North Hancock Street. According to the police report, a vehicle had crashed into a telephone pole and Jonathan A. Massie, 20, of 6 Jonas Stone Circle, Lexington, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation.
8:12 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Marrett Road.
8:23 a.m. – A bicyclist was reportedly stuck by a vehicle in the area of Hartwell Avenue and the Minuteman Bikeway.
8:55 a.m. – Police responded to Jonas Stone Circle for a report of a male punching walls.
4:50 p.m. – Officers investigated a motor vehicle accident in the area of Marrett and Kendall roads.
6:16 p.m. – A breaking-and-entering to a motor vehicle was reported on Captain Parker Arms.
9:11 p.m. – Police responded to a report of youths with fireworks in the meadow off Spencer Street.
10:26 p.m. – Assist Lincoln Police on Bedford Street. Joseph P. Derubies, 32, of 20 Lewis St., Lincoln, courtesy arrest for Lincoln police. According to the police report, he was wanted for domestic assault and battery in Lincoln and was located at the hotel.
11:35 p.m. – A security guard at a business on Spring Street reported there were multiple cars in a parking lot where there have been problems with youths partying. Officers responded to the scene and found two carloads of young people parked beneath a “No Trespassing” sign. As a result of the investigation, Jeffrey F. Pisano, 19, of 10 Avon St., Lexington, was arrested and charged with trespassing; James M. Sheffield, 17, of 8 Emerald St., Lexington, was arrested and charged with trespassing; Lucas Snyder, 17, of 7 Wingate Road, Lexington, was charged arrested and charged with trespassing; Matthew J. Taves, 17, of 23 Columbus St., Lexington, was arrested and charged with trespassing and being a minor transporting alcohol, and Maxwell D. Taylor, 21, of 1 Kitson Park Drive, Lexington, was arrested and charged with trespassing and possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute and illegal possession of a Class D substance.
Saturday, June 2
5:46 a.m. – Police responded to a reported larceny from a building on Mass Ave.
11:24 p.m. – Some items were reportedly stolen from a shed on Cliffe Avenue.
12:43 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported past hit-and-run accident on Bedford Street.
12:59 p.m. – A husband-wife domestic dispute was reported on Peacock Farm Road.
3:58 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Marrett and Kendall roads.
10:42 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a loud party on Judges Road.
10:46 p.m. – A report of fireworks came in from the area of Maple Street and Emerson Gardens Road.
11:02 p.m. – A fireworks complaint came in from the area of Joseph Road and Spencer Street.
Sunday, June 3
3:22 a.m. – Officers responded to Route 2 to assist state police.
3:12 p.m. – A bicycle was reportedly stolen from Main Campus Drive and the C-2 Connector.
3:34 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle into a tree on Meriam Street. The operator was transported to Lahey Clinic, the vehicle was towed and the operator will be summonsed for operating under the influence of alcohol.
3:55 p.m. – A mother-daughter domestic dispute was reported on Mass Ave.
6:01 p.m. – Police responded to a report of fireworks on Parker Street.
6:53 – As a result of a motor vehicle accident on Mass Ave, police found a vehicle had a revoked registration. The vehicle was towed and the operator summonsed.
