Police Log: Christmas Trees in the Street, Tools Stolen and a Missing End Table

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Monday, Jan. 7

8:16 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Grove Street and Robinson Road.

1:20 p.m. – A lost/stolen wallet was reported missing from Mass Ave.

6:43 p.m. – Police provided mutual aid to Burlington at the mall.

9:40 p.m. – Officers responded to the area of Bedford Street and Route 128/95 for a reported object in the road.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

5:36 a.m. – Police responded to a report of vandalism on North Street involving a window at Accelerated Fitness that was found to be smashed sometime overnight.

9:11 a.m. – Some tools were reportedly stolen from a construction site on Kendall Road sometime overnight. There was no apparent forced entry, but reported missing were assorted tools including at 12-inch saw, a framing nailer, a staple gun, batteries and other items.

11:32 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Harrington Road.

6:24 p.m. – A noise complaint came in from Grapevine Avenue.

6:40 p.m. – A cell phone was reported stolen from Wilson Road.

Wednesday, Jan. 9

10:16 a.m. – A hit-and-run accident reportedly occurred on Main Campus Drive.

10:22 a.m. – Animal control was notified of a possible rabid fox on the front porch of a Todd Road residence. Responders were unable to locate the animal.  

12:38 p.m. – A Bedford Street company reported credit card fraud involving several charges totaling more than $5,000 made at various Home Depots during December. The case is under investigation.

12:44 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Harrington Road.

4:33 p.m. – Police responded to a reported possible fight in the area of Waltham Street and Worthen Road. It was all quiet on arrival, but officers located two individuals there and the matter is under investigation.

6:21 p.m. – Possible vandalism was reported on Barrett Road. According to the incident report, a BB was shot through a center pane window at a residence sometime the prior evening. Upon a check of the neighborhood, officers found similar damage at the Bowman School.

7:45 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Hill Street.

Thursday, Jan. 10

1:04 a.m. – Police responded to a report of Christmas trees in the roadway in the area of Bedford and Hill streets.

8:03 a.m. – Police responded to a report of debris in the roadway in the area of Lowell Street and Fulton Road.

11:51 a.m. – A Leonard Road resident reported receiving a threat over the phone from an unknown caller. It’s under investigation.

3:11 p.m. – A Tidd Circle resident reported an end table was missing from his home. There were no signs of breaking-and-entering, but the table was missing and the incident is under investigation, police said.

5:54 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident with property damage reportedly occurred on Bedford Street.

10:35 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Spring Street and Old Spring Street.
