Police Log: Marijuana Citations and a Man on the Median

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Friday, Feb. 22

4:55 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a possibly homeless man sleeping in the foyer of a building on Bedford Street. The man was gone on arrival.

12:07 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Calvin Street.

7:26 p.m. – Officers assisted with a lockout on Bedford Street.

8:45 p.m. – Officers located an occupied vehicle in a parking garage on Hayden Avenue and, as a result, one Lexington resident was cited for noncriminal possession of marijuana.

9:39 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported hit-and-run accident with property damage in the area of Edison Way.

10:25 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Mass Ave, a Waltham teen was cited for open container and minor transporting alcohol and another was cited for noncriminal possession of marijuana.   

Saturday, Feb. 23

2:37 a.m. – Officers assisted Mass State Police in dealing with a pedestrian in the median on Route 2 west. The man, later identified as an Arlington resident, was brought to the McDonald’s on Rt. 128/95.

10:23 a.m. – Animal control was notified of a reported dog bite on Garfield Street.

1:11 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Bedford Street.

4:40 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported two-car accident in the area of Marrett Road and Spring Street.

4:45 p.m. – Police responded to a reported civil dispute on Bedford Street.

Sunday, Feb. 24

3:18 a.m. – Police responded to a motion alarm activation on Waltham Street.

2:58 p.m. – Emergency responders were called to Worthen Road for a reported odor inside the building.

4:19 p.m. – Officers investigated a 911 hang-up call that came in from Adams Street.

10:30 p.m. – Police responded to a residential panic alarm activation on Reed Street.
