POLL: $4 Gas and Vacations

Do gas prices have you staying closer to home?

The area continues its slow climb up the gas price rollercoaster ever-closer to $4, the plateau where many people decide to drive less, much less.

It's not a bad thing to stick around the area - especially since there are so many treasures to explore in and around Lexington.

Are the gas prices keeping you at home? Or did you head away for the long weekend?

Those were the days. My nephew just got a plastic gas station/playhouse, and the pump reads $48.25 for 12.5 gallons of gas. Talk about a sign of the times.
