Love Actually, bar none. Great cast, fantastic music, terrific stories - much better than copycats Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve!

Great picks so far! Personally, my favorite is the Muppet Family Christmas. I'm a product of the '80s.

Hands down, The Grinch (though I DO like Love Actually!) I just love when his heart grows three sizes and busts the frame around it.
Now I may have to check out the favs listed above...

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation is a riot.. Also Serendipity, which is a cute story about christmas, fate and love. Scrooged is another all time favorite with Bill Murray, and its a modern twist on other "A Christmas Carol" movies...

I'm a classic film fan so I really enjoy Holiday Affair (1949) with Janet Leigh and Robert Mitchum and Christmas in Connecticut (1945). They are two wonderful, funny, charming, heart-warming stories. I watch them every year. I also love Bachelor Mother (1939) which has Christmas & New Year's. Watch that every year (multiple times).

My holiday favorites: 1. It's a Wonderful Life 2. White Christmas 3. Christmas in Connecticut 4. Home Alone 5. NL's Christmas Vacation. (Oh, and the 1988 VHS recording of my family Christmas, where my 3-year-old brother carries the cat around by its neck—it was a good sport—my cousin gets into Grandma's lipstick and you can hear my dad singing an off-key version of "White Christmas" while he films everything.)

'Mame', the 1974 musical starring Lucille Ball, Beatrice Arthur, and Robert Preston has some great Christmas scenes! Auntie Mame (Ball) as an inept shop girl during the holiday season, and the song 'We Need a Little Christmas' is a lot of fun. Also love the animated 'Grinch', 'Muppet Christmas Carol', and 'Scrooge'.

I personally adore the original Miracle On 34th Street, White Christmas and The Bishop's Wife.

I see no place in that poll there where there is one movie about Jesus. No offense there and I like alla those pictures, especially the one with Jimmy Stewart there but maybe you couda just slipped one in about Jesus. All over the world they celebrate the birth of that baby, and everybody gets time off from work.
Now if that ain't proof that he's the Son of God, nuthin is.

The Shop Around the Corner. It's a Christmas-y movie starring Jimmy Stewart that's not It's a Wonderful Life. It's great, check it out.

The little girl in me HAD to choose The Muppet Christmas Carol. However, I do love It's a Wonderful Life. Another great, but lesser known Muppet Christmas movie is A Very Merry Muppet Christmas. It was on TV one year and is the Muppets version of It's A Wonderful Life. Which makes it perfect!!!

Yes my son, the Sword and Sandal movies are timeless. The Life of Brian is also a favorite.

tough choice! I love Elf and quote it year round. It's A Wonderful Life is a feel good classic. I enjoy A Christmas Story marathon on TNT. You can turn it on at any time :) White Christmas is another nice one. I was singing the Sisters song earlier today (I've got 7 of them!) A newer movie that I enjoy that isn't well known is a lifetime movie called the Christmas List
