"Purple Hearts" will be directed by award-winning playwright, director, and actress Melinda Lopez, and features Lexington actors Regie O'Hare Gibson and Don Cohen in the cast, along with some of Boston's finest professional performers.

A new cornerstone for Meadow's Camden Trilogy, "Purple Hearts" offers a prism through which the members of one extended family struggle to define themselves and their place in history -- and to explore their capacities for both healing and forgiveness. (Because the play has a smattering of unsavory language, it may not be appropriate for children under 13.)
