Snow-Related Delays and Closings in Lexington

If you don't know, now you know.

Lexingtonians, like many in Massachusetts, awoke this morning to a fresh coat of snow and, most likely, a host of messages announcing weather-related closings and delays. In case you missed any, here's a quick rundown:

Lexington Public Schools: Delayed two hours.

Minuteman High: Closed

Lexington Christian Academy: Closed

Lexington Montessori School: Closed

Town Office Building: Delayed two hours (to 10:30 a.m.)

Cary Memorial Library: Opening delayed to 11 a.m.

We're sure that's not all, so please let us know if there are other weather-related delays and closings to share with your neighbors.

Message from the Superintendent of Schools

Dear LPS Parents and Guardians,

Buses will dismiss from the high school after 1:35 pm in order to allow for additional time to get to middle schools and elementary schools at the regularly scheduled dismissal times.

All LPS after school activities are canceled today due to weather conditions. Lextended Day is also canceled today. If your child attends a private afterschool program, please check with them as to whether they are running their normal schedule.

Sincerely,

Paul B. Ash

The guy is a complete moron. Makes 300 thousand and can't even make the right decision. All towns around us were closed, that should of been a red flag for him.
