This week's Best of Patch Readers' Choice poll is looking for Lexington's best dessert spot.

With this week's Best of Patch Readers' Choice poll, we're appealing to your sweet tooth.

That's right. Forget the sportings goods stores and workout spots. It's school vacation week and we want to know where are your favorite places to get dessert in Lexington.

Here are a few favorite places, in no particular order, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll be sure to add it to the list and poll below:

Cake.
Baker's Bloom
Wilson Farm
Via Lago
Lexx Restaurant
Royal Pastry Shop
Tutto Italiano
La Riviera Gourmet
Sweet Thyme Bakery
Macaron Sweeterie

Voting's open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments posted below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch. Voting results posted in real time shall not be deemed official until Patch has reviewed and confirmed all of the votes

I'm sorry. I should have noted in the story that we're excluding ice cream and candy shops from consideration because they'll be the subject of their own polls at a later date.
