The Shooting Stars Preliminary Team, comprised primarily of fourth- and fifth-graders from Lexington and surrounding towns, competed well for a second place finish.

"We’re so proud of them. They're a great team off to a fabulous start because they work well together and most importantly have fun together,” said Head Coach Erika Hoffman. “We are thrilled that the Shooting Stars were able to compete at the Cape Cod Classic- a full month earlier than their competition debut last season! They came off the ice with big smiles and can't wait to compete again in a few weeks.”
