The following information is from Lynnette Allen, Bridge Elementary School library teacher: Three students at Bridge Elementary School were honored at a ceremony at the State House in Boston on March 28, as winners in a statewide bookmark contest sponsored by the Massachusetts School Library Association (MSLA). The ceremony was held in conjunction with Library Legislative Day, an event sponsored by school and public libraries from across the state. Name: Allie McMullen Age: 6 Accomplishment: She was named a junior ambassador to help support families with type 1 diabetes.
