Cary Memorial Library invites you to join us for the next presentation in Cary Library's ongoing series of evenings with Lexington authors. Special guest for this event will be award- winning local author Larry Tye, who will discuss his new book, Superman: The High Flying History of America's Most Enduring Hero.
Seventy-five years after he came to life, Superman remains one of America’s most adored and enduring heroes. Author Larry Tye will take us behind the scenes: to learn the true history of the Man of Steel, to explore his impact on our lives, and also to meet the designers, artists, owners, and performers who have made him the icon he is today!

More About Cary Memorial Library
Cary Memorial Library was renovated and expanded, reopening in April 2004, with a larger children's room, more public service spaces, enhanced meeting rooms and technological advances. There is a meeting room that seats 125 people, and numerous quiet study areas available. The library also offers a children's room, young adult collection, adult fiction and non-fiction collections, reference materials and a range of audiovisual material.
