New England Light Opera celebrates its 10th anniversary with a semi-staged concert production of Strauss's timeless operetta Die Fledermaus (The Bat). Sung in English, Die Fledermaus serves up an evening of romance, intrigue, and comedy set to some of the most memorable and charming music in all of operetta. The show will be directed by Peter Carey, who directed our inaugural production The Merry Widow, as well as The New Moon, Yes, Yes Jeanette!, and more with us. The show will be accompanied by piano trio led by Beverly Soll.

More About Hancock United Church of Christ
Hancock is home to one of two United Church of Christ (UCC) locations in Lexington. The United Church of Christ is a Protestant Christian denomination that formed in 1957, when the Evangelical and Reformed Church and the Congregational Christian Churches united. Hancock offers a variety of programs, from lecture series and adult study groups, to children's groups and organizations. The church is also a member of the UCC movement of Open and Affirming Churches.
