 ial Library will host Boston Globe columnist and author Brian McGrory.&n
 bsp\; The award-winning journalist will discuss his new memoir\, Buddy: 
 How a Rooster Made Me a Family Man\, a heart-warming and hilarious tale 
 about his &ldquo\;head to beak&rdquo\; battle with a very aggressive and
  obnoxious rooster.\nWhen Brian McGrory remarried\, his new bride came w
 ith accessories that could not have been more exotic to the city-loving 
 bachelor: a home in suburbia\, two young daughters\, two dogs\, two cats
 \, two rabbits\, and a &ldquo\;step-rooster&rdquo\; named Buddy. In Budd
 y\, McGrory describes his battle with the rooster and the important less
 ons that Buddy eventually taught him.&nbsp\;\nThis is a heartwarming\, w
 ise\, and very funny tale about finding love in life&rsquo\;s second cha
 pter - and how it means even more when you have to fight for it!\nBrian 
 McGrory is a longtime newspaper reporter\, editor\, and columnist. He ha
 s written for and edited The Boston Globe since 1989. He has a twice wee
 kly column that appears on the front of the Metro Section\, for which he
  has won the Scripps Howard journalism award.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nThis progra
 m is free\, and will be held in the Library&rsquo\;s Large Meeting Room.
