The Friends of Cary Library, Lexington, will hold its 23rd Annual Meeting on Sunday, November 4, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lower Level Meeting Room at the library. Our speaker is Christopher Bing who is Lexington’s own award-winning children’s book author, illustrator and engraver. To celebrate Lexington’s 300th anniversary, Chris will share the research for his book, “The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere.” On exhibit will be original color engravings of the book. Chris looks forward to presenting an interactive program and encourages audience participation. Please come with your questions.

More About Cary Memorial Library
Cary Memorial Library was renovated and expanded, reopening in April 2004, with a larger children's room, more public service spaces, enhanced meeting rooms and technological advances. There is a meeting room that seats 125 people, and numerous quiet study areas available. The library also offers a children's room, young adult collection, adult fiction and non-fiction collections, reference materials and a range of audiovisual material.
