Vocalist Hannah Rose's repertoire will include romantic torch songs such as Beautiful Love, Lover Man, Love Me Or Leave Me guaranteed to warm your heart.
Band members include Harvey Diamond - piano, Rick Maida - bass, Dave Hurst - drums.
This sensational young singer, Hannah Rose Diamond, is quickly gaining fans in the Boston area for her sultry and passionate delivery of torch songs at local nightclubs. Her voice is warm and angelic and she arouses deep emotions with her delivery of romantic ballads and slow paced swing standards from the great jazz era of the 1930's and 40's. Her sweet and wistful delivery exhibits a mature emotional directness and depth that belies her youthfulness. She has grown up immersed within an environment imbued with the brilliant piano playing and zen-like ambiance projected by her father, Harvey Diamond. She is young, in her early 20s, but from her petite frame she projects a sense of confidence and knowledge of music that staggers the listener. This is a young performer who has the potential to break into the jazz scene like a Norah Jones or Diana Krall. Www.myspace.com/hannahrosediamond
