Hazardous Waste Disposal Day for Small Businesses

On Wednesday, August 15th, 2012, there will be a small business hazardous waste collection event located at 60 Harwell Avenue in Lexington, MA at the Minuteman Regional Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility (http://www.lexingtonma.gov/dpw/hartwell.cfm). This event is dedicated to help small businesses such as painters, landscapers, swimming pool service providers, printers, dentists and many others, unload hazardous waste that cannot be disposed of in the normal rubbish or garbage. Hazardous waste is anything considered ignitable, corrosive, toxic or reactive - examples include paint related material, pool chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, batteries, light bulbs, cylinders, mercury contained in manufactured articles or debris and many others.
