Lexington High School Student Film Festival
Come and enjoy the debut of a dozen short films created by Lexington High School students. A jury made up of teachers and representatives of LexMedia and the Colonial Times will pick this year’s winner. The films are written, directed, edited and acted by LHS students in Mary Pappas’ digital film classes.
More About Lexington Venue
Formerly Lexington Flick, this cozy independent theater was recently purchased by a new owner and in March 2010 it was renamed as Lexington Venue. Built in 1915, the theater has recently completed renovations. It includes new seating, and now shows more first-run movies. Lexington Venue is located in the heart of Lexington Center on Massachusetts Avenue. The movie theater recently was used as the backdrop for a scene in the Mark Whalberg film, The Fighter.
