 The Cigar Box Purse Collaborative: Art as Accessory

 Lexington Artists Celebrate the 300th

 A Retrospect of Clothing worn in Lexington from 1713 to 2013  and Images Inspired by Lexington

 September 28 through October 12

 Opening Reception:  September 30,  3 – 5:30pm

 Gallery Hours:  Tuesdays – Fridays & Sundays 12 – 4 pm

Saturday – 10 am – 4 pm

 On display will be authentic, historic Lexington fashions and a unique collection of cigar box purses created by local and LACS artists. The purses will eventually be auctioned off.

In addition, view Fine Art by Society members, past and present, chosen to complement the purses and clothing.

Just a taste of the upcoming musical, fashion revue, "Breeches, Bloomers, Bellbottoms - OH MY!" taking place on October 27, 2012 on the Lexington High School stage.
