MTI provides students with the required qualifications to confidently seek out and successfully compete for desirable roles in diverse high-growth industries. Adults may apply to the MTI programs (formerly known as Adult Career Training programs) to hone their skills in a technical area, retrain for new employment, or learn new technical skills. MTI rapidly equips students with the knowledge, self-confidence, and industry certifications to enhance their existing career or begin a new one.
MTI is for anyone interested in acquiring competitive skills and credentials in Dental Assisting, Biomanufacturing, HVAC, and Plumbing in as little as 90 days.
At MTI, students learn more, faster; train with experts; and receive the attention they deserve.
Most of the MTI’s postgraduate programs follow the school calendar and are held from September - June, from 7:45 am - 2:30 pm., and take place in the same labs, shops, and classrooms as the high school program.
Choose from exciting programs such as Advanced Automotive Technology, Biomanufacturing, Building Construction Technology (Carpentry), Cosmetology, Culinary Arts / Baking, Dental Assisting, Electrical Wiring, Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration, Health Occupations (Clinical Medical Assistant, EKG Technician, Electronic Health Records Management, Medical Billing & Coding, Pharmacy Technician Phlebotomy Technician), Horticulture and Landscape Technology, Hospitality Management and Plumbing.
See individual programs for tuition details. There may be a reduced tuition rate for adults who live in the Minuteman district towns of Acton, Arlington, Belmont, Bolton, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord, Dover, Lancaster, Lexington, Lincoln, Needham, Stow, Sudbury, Wayland and Weston. Some programs charge tuition regardless of residency, and all students are responsible for materials fees. See program offerings for details.
Out-of-district residents may attend on a tuition-paying basis.
A $250 deposit (half of the materials fee) is required within 30 days of acceptance into the program to secure a spot. The remaining portion of the materials fee is due prior to the start of the program.
Tuition Payment Options:
Option 1: Payment in full due prior to the start of the program.
Option 2: Payment plans may be arranged which divide payments into ten payments from August through May for a one- or two-year program, or five monthly payments (August through December or January through May) for a 90-day program.
