Social networks and blogs continue to dominate Americans’ time online, now accounting for nearly a quarter of total time spent on the internet.  Social media has grown rapidly – today nearly 4 in 5 active internet users visit social networks and blogs.

While that’s all well and good, the main question for nonprofits in the Internet age remains – How can we best use our limited resources, knowledge and staff capacity to fundraise using social media and other online tools?

Julia Campbell is Principal at J Campbell Social Marketing, a nonprofit strategy consulting firm based in Beverly, MA.  She has over 10 years experience in contributing to positive social change through leadership positions in the nonprofit sector and through government service (United States Peace Corps).  Focusing on nonprofit organizations and socially-responsible businesses, Julia works with clients to enhance their organizational strengths and assets by using online tools, including social media, blogs and email communications.
