Story Telling Program Series - A Storyteller Tells Tales with Norah Dooley
Youville Assisted Living Residences will present a stimulating six-part series called Story Telling…The magic behind memorable moments. The series is open to the public and free of charge.
Storytelling has had a renaissance of sorts recently. One of the oldest forms of communication, storytelling remains an exciting, expressive way for people from every walk of life to share “memorable moments.”
Youville welcomes the community, and encourages attendance at any or all of the presentations. For more details on each program, visit Youville’s web-site: www.youvilleassistedliving.org

Story Telling: A Storyteller Tells Tales - Nov. 14
As a professional storyteller, Norah uses her face, voice and body to bring stories to life. In her 1991 bestselling book, “Everybody Eats Rice,” she wrote about her multicultural neighborhood in Cambridge. Many books and stories later, she continues to enchant audiences of all ages and encourages listeners to tell and write their own stories. For this purpose she initiated “MassMouth,” an adult story slam at the Coolidge Corner Theater, held yearly to sell out crowds. Norah also works with elementary and high schools to organize storytelling sessions. Her presentations are electrifying.
