Story Telling: A Storyteller Tells Tales - Nov. 14
Norah Dooley
As a professional storyteller, Norah uses her face, voice and body to bring stories to life. In her 1991 bestselling book, “Everybody Eats Rice,” she wrote about her multicultural neighborhood in Cambridge. Many books and stories later, she continues to enchant audiences of all ages and encourages listeners to tell and write their own stories. For this purpose she initiated “MassMouth,” an adult story slam at the Coolidge Corner Theater, held yearly to sell out crowds. Norah also works with elementary and high schools to organize storytelling sessions. Her presentations are electrifying.
