DESCRIPTION:The League of Women Voters of Lexington will present a Candid
 ates Night on Thursday\, February 14\, in the Science Lecture Hall at Le
 xington High School. &nbsp\;An annual event presented by the League to e
 ncourage greater participation in Town elections\, this is an opportunit
 y for candidates to present their positions on the issues and to listen 
 to their constituents&rsquo\; concerns.&nbsp\;\nIn the first part of the
  evening\, candidates for Town Meeting will gather in assigned classroom
 s to meet and exchange ideas with voters from their own precincts.&nbsp\
 ; In the second part\, the audience will meet in the school auditorium t
 o hear the views of people seeking Town-wide elective office\, after whi
 ch a League moderator will preside over a question and answer period.&nb
 sp\; The evening will be informative and provide a lively forum for disc
 ussion of topics that will be voted upon at Town Meeting.\nDoors will op
 en at 7:00 p.m. and precinct meetings will start at 7:30.&nbsp\; The mee
 ting with Town-wide candidates is scheduled from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.&nbsp
 \; There is no admission charge and the public is encouraged to attend.&
