Lexington-Bedford Youth Hockey, in conjunction with USA Hockey, invites children 8 and under to the Hayden Ice Rink on Saturday, November 3rd from 11:40 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. for a Try Hockey For Free clinic to experience ice hockey for the first time and learn the basics of the sport in a fun, safe environment.
Players need nothing more than a helmet, skates, pair of gloves or mittens, a parent to complete the registration form...and a smile. Players are encouraged to borrow equipment from their hockey playing friends, and we will have limited quantities of some types of equipment available at the rink for them to use.
Lexington-Bedford Youth Hockey coaches will run the children through a series of fun drills, play some games with chances to win goodie bags and have some pizza.

More About Chase Skating Facility at the Hayden Recreation Centre
The Hayden Recreation Centre is operated as a non-profit, privately-endowed corporation and does not receive financial support from the Town of Lexington. Open only during the winter season, the indoor rink is used for general skating, classes and league play. It is also used by Lexington High School and the Lexington Bedford Youth Hockey program on a scheduled basis. You must be a member of the Hayden Recreation Centre to use the skating facility. Call for membership details, general skate hours, class schedules or more information. Please note, skate rentals are not available.
