We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Aug. 22 in Lexington.

1. Back to School with The Elephant's TrunkYour kids looking for one last read before heading back to school? Stop into the Elephant's Trunk between 2 to 4 p.m. today to participate in Camp ETB and recommendations for end-of-summer reads. Get the details here.  

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, the only public meeting posted for today is the Lexington Housing Assistance Board at the LexHAB suite at 4 Militia Drive. 

3. ICYMI: In case you missed it, yesterday we shared a preview of the Lexington Symphony's season-opening performance, which will feature four classical works, on Sept. 14. If you haven't yet, definitely check it out

5. Storms are Threatening: Still warm, but with chance of thunderstorms today and a high of 85, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a continued threat of storms overnight and a low of 64.
