1) Possible showers
Looks like a mixed-bag weather wise today. According to theNational Weather Service we can expect a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10 a.m. and some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Otherwise partly sunny with a high near 85 degrees. Showers likely tonight with a low around 65.
2) Public meetings
The Lexington Center Committee is meeting at 8 a.m. in the Town Office Building Parker Room. The Commission on Disability of meeting at 5:45 p.m. in the Town Office Building, Parker Room. The Communications Advisory Committee is meeting at 6:30 p.m. Town Office Building, Reed Room. Click here for a full list of meetings.
3) Friend of the library
There will be a Friends of Cary Memorial Library meeting from 9 to 11 a.m. this morning at the library.
