Lexington High Players Present 'Much Ado About Nothing'

Come watch the LHS Players perform William Shakespeare.

Come see the Lexington High School Players take on one of William Shakespeare's great works.

The Lexington High School Players are presenting Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday in the LHS auditorium.

The play explores love, loyalty, deception, and gender equality.

"The production, directed by drama teacher Jillian Singer-Wong, reflects the play’s universal appeal by combining elements of contemporary life with those inspired by life in 1890s Italy, a time of rising feminism," the event post states. "In fact, the first woman to become a medical doctor in Italy received her degree in this era. The public is invited to join the cast of 20 student performers and 20 crew members for a spirited performance of one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies."

Tickets available at the door are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.
