Move Your Parked Vehicle Off the Street or Risk Getting Ticketed or Towed

Plow trucks will be out cleaning the streets.

A friendly reminder that the Lexington all night parking ban is in effect and with the snow falling the plow trucks will be out in town. 

According to the Lexington Police Department the winter parking ban is in effect until April 1.

During the ban, vehicles can not be parked or unattended upon a street between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Violators can be subject to a fine of up to $20 per offense.

The town has also previously stated that if there is a snow storm and a car is parked on the street it may be towed to allow the passage of snow plows.
